Central Ontario Region will be running a Spring Elemental Field Training Activity (FTX) at Blackdown Cadet Training Centre.  You will be participating with other air cadet squadrons in the central area.  This is a mandatory event and is open to all cadets.
Activities that will be covered are as follows:

  • Aircrew Survival

  • Aircrew Navigation

  • Marksmanship

  • Airport Operations

Dates:  Friday, May 22 to Sunday, May 24, 2026

Departure:  Friday, May 22nd.  Time: Bus departs at 7:00pm from St. Jean de Brebeuf High School. Cadets are to arrive by 6:30pm the latest.  Parents are to wait in the parking lot until the bus leaves.
Return: Sunday, May 24th.  Time: cadets are boarding the bus at 2:00pm at Blackdown. Arrival at St. Jean de Brebeuf High School will be around 3:30pm depending on traffic.

Dress:  FTU.  If no FTU, appropriate civilian attire including your squadron t-shirt. NO crop tops.  NO CROCS or open toed shoes. Wear running shoes or boots (no high heels).  Bring rain gear as we may get rain over the weekend.  PAY ATTENTION TO THE WEATHER and bring a warm jacket, toque and gloves if necessary.
Mandatory:  Health Card, Medication, if required, refillable water bottle and sleeping bag and pillow.
