On Monday, November 11th, 283 Air Cadet Squadron will be participating in the City of Vaughan’s Remembrance Day Ceremony.
This event is open to all cadets.
Date: Monday, November 11, 2024
Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Location: Woodbridge Pool & Memorial Arena Parking Lot, 5020 Hwy 7, Woodbridge, ON L4L 1T1. We will be walking over to the Cenotaph located on Wallace St.
Dress: C1 – Blue with medals, Parka, black gloves, toque (if it’s cold). If you do not have a blue uniform, you may wear your FTUS, but they must be ironed, and your boots shined, parka, black gloves, toque (if cold). New Recruits: Wear your black and white uniform, warm jacket, black gloves and warm hat if cold.
Volunteer hours: You may collect volunteer hours for this activity. Please bring your FILLED IN FORM on Wednesday, November 13th, and the CO will sign them.
Parents are welcome to stay and observe the ceremony.
Cadets are allowed to wear their uniform to school on Monday, Nov 11 if they so choose. The blue uniform is preferrable; no blue, you may wear your FTU. Uniform should be cleaned, ironed and boots shined.
