Developed for Canada’s next generation of aviation and aerospace leaders, these 50 scholarships of $1000 are open to any student 25 years of age or younger who is either entering or studying in a post-secondary institution in Canada. They are designed to encourage students in S.T.E.M. studies in college or university that plan on future careers in the aviation or aerospace industry.

The Ontario Provincial Committee is a civilian, community-based organization that operates in collaboration with the Department of National Defence. Its primary mission is to support the objectives of the Royal Canadian Air Cadet program, which aims to develop good citizenship and leadership skills among youth, promote physical fitness, and stimulate interest in aviation and aerospace.

The Bruna and Enzo Canton Scholarship is provided to an Ontario Air Cadet who meets the terms and conditions for scholarship and will be attending a Canadian post-secondary institution taking a certificate, diploma or degree in the field of aviation or aviation related field.

After WO2 Alfred Wong, of 351 Silver Star Squadron passed away as the result of an accident in June 2007, his family and friends generously donated funds for a scholarship to be awarded annually in memory of this exceptional young man and outstanding Air Cadet. In recognition of Alfred’s interest in music, the scholarship is given to an Air Cadet who has shown commitment to the music program and/or is pursuing a post- secondary program with some focus on music.
