The selection process is governed by Cadet Administrative and Training Orders (CATO) 13-30 Cadets Excused Absence from LHQ Training, paragraph 12 – Advance Training Courses, Exchanges and Scholarships, which states: “Due to the requirement for cadets to have contributed to the efficiency of a cadet corps/squadron as part of the selection process for these activities, a cadet on an Excused Absence from a cadet corps/squadron for more than 50% of activities in that training year (Sep – Jun) shall not be considered.”
Registration for Summer Training is now open for Level 2 cadets and above. Unfortunately there are no summer training opportunities for Level One cadets.
Please review the attached information and links provided. Please confirm with your parents that you are available for the ENTIRETY of your course. You can choose up to 3 options. Do not pick a course if you are not willing to do it. As much as every cadet wants to go to their 1st choice, chances are you will be offered your 2nd or 3rd choice. Being offered a course and then saying no thank you as it wasn’t the one you really wanted is just a waste of everyone’s time. Note: not every cadet that applies for camp will be chosen to go. There are always more applications than spots available.
