Our Regional Cadet Support Unit (RCSU) Central Ontario Area (COA) will be conducting an Area Directed Activity with a Band and Drill theme.  Activities may include leadership development, physical fitness programming, ceremonial training, competitive formats, or experiential models as determined during detailed planning. Priority of effort is reinforcement of core competencies transferable to Sqn-level execution. End state is strengthened cadet confidence, cohesion, and measurable improvement in Sqn training effectiveness across the Area.
DATE:  Saturday, March 7, 2026
LOCATION:  CFB Borden
DRESS:  C5 FTUS.  If no FTUS, then APPROPRIATE civilian attire including your squadron T-shirt.  NO ripped jeans, NO crop tops, NO crocs or slides type shoe.  Must wear laced or Velcro closed toed shoes like running shoes or comfortable boots.
Parkas, toques and gloves/mitts are also required to walk from one building to another.  If you do not have a squadron parka (winter jacket), then wear your own.
MANDATORY:  Refillable water bottle and Health Card. 
CONSENT FORMS:  There are two forms that must be filled out ASAP and returned to CI Grande on Wednesday, March 4th; a Parental Consent form and an Informed Consent FormOnly cadets that have signed up for this activity are required to fill out the forms.

BUS DEPARTURE:  7:15 am – Vellore Village Community Centre,1 Villa Royale Ave, Woodbridge.  Cadets are to arrive by 6:45 am for attendance, etc.
Bus leaves at 7:15 am SHARP.
Parents are asked to remain on site until the busses leave

All cadets must fill out the clinic sign-up form. Link can be found on the first page of the PDF document attached.  You must choose 6 clinics to participate in ranked 1 – 6, one being your first choice.  We are NOT participating in any band or drill competitions, so please choose the “Observe a Band Competition” or “Observe a Drill Competition” as one of your options.  If you choose the “Uniform Maintenance Tips” you may want to bring your C3 uniform.
